Elizabeth (Libby) Raines. Libby loves the delicacy and intricacy of nature, learning to use the medium of water colour and the constant challenge of drawing and painting to create something beautiful.

She has exhibited in Botanica and in local art exhibitions. She mostly sells her paintings and cards from home, Merry Garth.

She was invited by Michael Pembroke in 2008 to illustrate his book "Trees of History and Romance" which was published in 2009. Ray Harrington has been a mentor for Libby since 1998 and she still participates in his art classes at Mt Irvine.

Water colour is her medium, and plants and flowers, mostly growing in the garden at Merry Garth, her subjects.
