Before you commence a pile burn please make the following preparations;

• The maximum size of pile which can be burnt is 2m x 2m x 1.5m high.
• Check likely weather conditions
• At least 24 hours before lighting the pile call Blue Mountains RFS on (02) 4784 7444 and call your neighbours to advise them of your plan to burn a pile of material.
• Just before light up, call Blue Mountains RFS and confirm you are about to light your pile of material.
