The opening of the Mt Wilson Turkish Bath Museum was held on Saturday 17th September 1997. The guest speakers were Mrs Hazel Hawke (Chairman of the Heritage Council of NSW), Ms Maggie Deahm (representing Mr Bob Debus MP for the Blue Mountains) and Miss Victoria Lynn (Curator of Contemporary Art at the Art Gallery of the NSW). The occasion was hosted by Mr Raoul Wilson, Chairman of the Mount Wilson Historical Society.
