From Bell’s Line of Road, Mt Wilson Rd is an 8km sealed road to Mt Wilson and you climb a steep road up onto Mt Wilson, part of Mt Wilson Rd but commonly called the Zig Zag. Note how the vegetation changes as you approach Mt Wilson Village and enter the basalt soil area for which Mt Wilson and Mt Irvine are well known.
